For Shoe Level, the storefront had been developed, based on the WooCommerce back-end. The store had been prepared multistore-ready, with a future European expansion in mind, potentially saving the hassle of setting up complex redirections and maintaining page rankings.
To generate immediate revenue and build brand awareness, Google Ads, affiliate marketing and social media campaigns were set up to run from the start, while the SEO strategy had been layed out parallel to this.
Besides API connections with the Warehouse Management System and Instagram, among other apps, customizations to the WooCommerce back-end have been developed for Shoe Level. As an example, we made it possible to easily add, edit and maintain Influencers in the back-end, which are automatically shown on the front-end based on an algorithm. The products worn by the influencers are read from the hashtags in the Instagram posts and automatically linked and shown on several store pages.
